It's why they've been busy pandering like there's no tomorrow. First it was a cheesy attempt to buy their re-election with "stimulus" checks. Then it was billions in pork to bailout housing. Last week it was more unemployment benefits (tacked on to Iraq/Afghanistan military appropriations). Of course, they're much too busy to even ATTEMPT anything designed to increase our nation's energy supplies. He and his people have been negligent in highlighting their accomplishments, while his shortcomings have gotten way too much press.
