Hey, has anyone heard about any “preparations” for the Mississippi flood going on in New Orleans?? You would think that the drive bys would have a few reporters down there to make sure that the Bush administration doesn’t flood the poor folk of again. =)) – Lorica

Not yet, Lorica, but I’ll bet that Ray Nagin’s putting the buses on the river side of the levees.

Seriously, I expect the flood will be managed long before it gets to New Orleans.

It’s flooding in the midwest! George Bush hates crackers! Err, I mean white people! Maybe the mayors up there will pledge to make sure their towns stay vanilla cities? ;)

But on a more serious note. Here are some pics of Missouri being flooded. There hasn’t been a whole lot of rain in the last week, this is just moving down from IA. MO had a couple of dikes break too, and we all know how dikes are built in New Orleans. – Lorica

You just can’t make this stuff up!!!

Barack Obama said Tuesday that evangelical leader James Dobson was “making stuff up” when he accused the presumed Democratic presidential nominee of distorting the Bible.

Now Barak is giving Bible lessons to one of the foremost minds in Christian Psychology!!! You have got to be kidding me!!! =)) – Lorica

This one is for our friend NC Cop, the most vocal Giants’ fan here. One of his team’s former players is a man of class and character. This Cowboy fan salutes him. **==

In a 5-4 vote, the court says the law allowing the death penalty to be imposed in cases of child rape violates the Constitution’s ban on cruel and unusual punishment.

I have no problem with this as long as life imprisonment with no possiblity of parole is substituted or as long as the Father that is exacting retribution is also allowed the same consideration. – Lorica

Rep. James Fagan, a Democrat, made these comments during debate last month on the state House floor.

“I’m gonna rip them apart,” Fagan said of young victims during his testimony on the bill. “I’m going to make sure that the rest of their life is ruined, that when they’re 8 years old, they throw up; when they’re 12 years old, they won’t sleep; when they’re 19 years old, they’ll have nightmares and they’ll never have a relationship with anybody.”

Just another Dem serving the people. How can these lowlifes continue to be elected. It is innocent until proven guilty if you are a terrorist, but guilty for life if you are a child rape victim. Niiiiceee!!! Why do Democrats hate children so much??? – Lorica
