Israel Decries U.N. Troops After Peacekeepers Salute Dead Hezbollah Terrorists

Israel is calling for removal of two United Nations soldiers from Lebanon after photographs surfaced of the soldiers saluting the coffins of Hezbollah terrorists during a prisoner exchange Wednesday.

Absolutely unreal. They’re saluting murderous terrorists?!?! WTF?!?!?!

Of course, the fine UN spokespeople tried to explain it away:

But a UNIFIL spokeswoman said the salute was nothing out of the ordinary.

“It is customary in most armies for military personnel in uniform to salute whenever a coffin passes in a procession” UNIFIL spokeswoman Yasmina Bouziane said. “They were merely following this customary military tradition and saluted coffins draped in Lebanese national flags at their own initiative.”

Disgraceful.

“I think this is a very tragic and sad day for the United Nations when its soldiers who were sent there because of Hezbollah terrorist activities salute the terrorists and the killers” Gillerman said.

Indeed.

This trade is wrong in so many ways. First, Kuntar will doubtless murder more people as soon as possible, and second, Hezbollah will conclude that grabbing hostages – and even killing them – is profitable. Expect more of it.

If it were up to me, I’d shoot the SOB just before the exchange and deliver the corpse to the Islamofascists.

Hezbollah Returns Bodies to Israel in Exchange for 5 Lebanese Militants

Israel released Samir Kantar and four others after Hezbollah handed over two black coffins with the bodies of the Israeli soldiers, closing a painful chapter from the 2006 war in Lebanon

This Kantar was quite the coward.

Kantar was convicted in a nighttime attack that killed a 4-year-old girl, her father and a policeman. Although polls showed Israelis solidly endorsed the exchange, many see Kantar as the embodiment of evil.

It wasn’t just a murder. See how Kantar carried out his “holy war”.

Israeli witnesses claim Kuntar’s group took Danny and Einat down to the beach, where a shootout with Israeli policemen and soldiers erupted. Kuntar allegedly shot Danny at close range in the back, in front of his daughter, and drowned him in the sea to ensure he was dead. Next, eyewitnesses said he smashed the head of 4 year-old Einat on beach rocks and crushed her skull with the butt of his rifle…

After drowning Danny in the sea in front of Einat (as Ahmed Al-Brass, Mhanna Salim Al-Muayed, and Abdel Majeed Asslan served as look outs and backup cover for Kuntar), Kuntar turned his attention towards the 4 year-old. He took his rifle and then swung it across the toddler’s head, knocking her to the ground. Kuntar then dragged the toddler a couple of feet to the closest rock he could find and laid her head down on a rock, with the intention of crushing it with the butt of his rifle. Einat, instinctively covered her head with her arms, Kuntar struggled with the toddler until he finally managed to clear her arms out of the way. Once her arms were out of the way, Kuntar repeatedly beat her on the head with the butt of his rifle and stomping on her body, until blood rushed out of her ears and mouth. Then, to ensure she was dead, Kuntar continued beating her over the head until her skull was crushed and she was dead.

Keep in mind, this scumbag Kuntar is being hailed as a “hero” in Beirut.

Although I realize and respect the Israelis desire to return the bodies of their soldiers, this will do nothing except to ensure that more little girls like Einat have their skulls smashed by the likes of Kuntar.
