It’s Megalomania, Don…but you’re heart’s in the right place. The posters for the upcoming speech in the Tiergarten in Germany are truly scary…Heil, Obama, Fuhrer fur Amerika und Die Welt.

The Farce is Strong with this one.

The Cult of Personality is an amazing, terrifying thing to watch…like Lenin, or Hitler, it isn’t what he says, it’s his personal magnetism (and the fact that they don’t know what he really stands for, so can project their fondest hopes onto him) that draws the ignorant crowd and makes them do his bidding.

I’m serious – watching all this imagery, seeing him act like he’s already a head of state? It’s just not right.

No, but that’s exactly the point. These moves are all designed to give him the aura of incumbency, especially where foreign affairs are concerned. The idea is that if voters see images like this often enough, subconsciously they’ll think he’s already a smashing success as a diplomat, so why not (re-)elect him? And you’d better believe we will be seeing those images from now till November. Those photo-ops are the only way he can compete with McCain on that front.

Obama and his handlers may think he’s the Chosen One, but all this says to me is that he has delusions of adequacy.
