Sister Toldjah!
7/23/2008 - 8:19 pm

I just did a quick scan of the last several posts I’ve written and dang if every single one of them is not about Obama. LOL.  Well, it can’t be helped when his face has been plastered all over the news for the last few days thanks in no small part to his World Tour.

Sometimes it gets frustrating talking about him, because it’s so obvious he’s winging it nine times out of ten and no one outside of conservatives seems to care.  There are days when I don’t want to blog about him at all, but I would feel derelict in my duties if I didn’t.

So … with that in mind, I’m considering making at least one day in the future an “Obama-free” day here at the blog.  That would mean that I wouldn’t blog at all about BO, but that doesn’t mean you couldn’t post about him in the open thread. What do you think?

  1. What I’d like is an Obama free rest of my life. If having to wade through interminable postings on him, even here at Chez Toldjah, is the price I have to pay then so be it.

Call ‘em as you see ‘em.

  2. It’s your blog, babe. Just do as you wish.

Your info is always solid, factual and well researched no matter what the topic is.

You are one of the top independent conservative bloggers on my list. And a class act too. :x

  3. I don’t mind all the Obama posting, usually because I find out something new about the Senator on a daily basis.

  4. If he could choose just one day to not have an Obamination Moment™, it would be worth it.

I find that, on any given day, half my Scramble is Obama posts, with almost no overlap. I thought the time between the primaries and the conventions were supposed to be quiet.

  6. Nah. My blog jumps between too many topics. Obama has become your specialty. It gives you focus — stick with it. :)

  10. one day in the future an “Obama-free” day

Ohhhh to dream the impossible dream!!! Actually, and I know you are only speaking about this blog, but in order to go a whole day BO free, one would have to lock me in an isolation chamber or I would have to be stranded on a mountain top or deserted island. What I would give right now to be Tom Hanks in the movie Castaway. Think about it 4 years without hearing the name Obama….. - Lorica
