Associated Press: We are now winning the Iraq war

Damn.  If the anti-war mediots at the AP can admit it, why can’t Barack Obama?

Oh wait. I know.  He doesn’t want to alienate this crowd.

  1. Mwalimu Daudi says:

The MSM is trying to walk the Messiah back from a total disaster that could engulf the entire Democrat Party. They are failing.

Deliberately losing in Vietnam was bad enough when the only effects on the US were images of frantic refugees and the shattered lives of soldiers who fought bravely and deserved better (the MSM never gave a s**t about vets – why else would they lie about Haditha?). Deliberately losing in Iraq could mean all of the above plus a massive surge in gas prices (one estimate that I saw suggested $10 a gallon was a real possibility if Iraq goes under) and a renewed effort by al Qaeda and other terrorist groups to make American streets resemble Baghdad at its worst.

No number of leering references to Vicki Iseman will save Democrats in that case.

AP writes, “Analysis: US Now Winning Iraq War That Seemed Lost.” Uh, AP folks? It seemed lost because you hoped the U.S. would lose and because the Dems you support wanted the U.S. to lose. The war only seemed lost in the twisted minds of the Left. Period.
