Pick quality leaders with stateman like character and strong principles and they will come. Stop trying to be liberal lite.John McMetoo doesn’t cut it and that’s why Obama has such a free ride. A lot of conservative souls are turned off the GOP and frankly, like battered housewives -there does come a point when we say enough is enough.

I think people are going to soon get fatigued from this constant racial discussion. I am tired of it already. Should these petty squabbles continue I cannot see it helping BHO’s campaign.

So, (based on his comment), this is what the Democratic Party expects us to gamble on leading the free world? Obama’s “typical biography” is exactly what the left has provided to the electorate for thirty years now—a philosophy based on the fundamental belief that it is the governments responsibility to provide for our every need.

Obama has (in the Clinton tradition of governing by polls) once again shifted his position on offshore drilling just enough to appease the “undecided’s” knowing full well that the environmental lobby will tie up the much needed exploration with lawsuits well into the next decade, (think spotted owl).

Benning is spot on with Obama’s use of racism,(wag the dog mentality), when ever specific issues need to be explained or if he’s taken off his “we are the world” feel good mantra that feeds his lemmings.

Well, someone is finally pointing out the obvious — sort of. A dispute over whether black U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama has played the “race card” won’t swing the election but could make it harder for voters to trust him,……

If you break it down and pull out the fluff in the middle you get “What this means is that I’m sort of unfamiliar in a way that might not be true if I seemed more familiar”….. Does that make any sense to anyone here?? Is this man always going to double speak everything he says?? And the MSM wonders why he is not doing better in the polls.

Seriously tho, this person has been on the national stage for 4 years now, and he still wonders why people still don’t know him. Perhaps if he wasn’t constantly flip flopping like a fish out of water, or if he wasn’t constantly using his power of double speak to confuse everyone, someone might actually get to know him. – Lorica

So am I counting correctly, is this the third blatant draw of the race card? First we had the “Did I mention that he’s black?” Second was his claim that nobody in Berlin ever saw an American that looked like him.

Okay, that one is true. He’s skinnier than Colin Powell and doesn’t look as good in a dress and boots as does COndi RIce.

And third is this one – he doesn’t look like any of those people on the money. He must have been commenting on Hillary’s well remarked resemblance to Abe Lincoln.
