Liberty Pundit blog shutting down

Many long-time readers of this blog know Brian at Liberty Pundit (formerly Iowa Voice) not just from  his blogging at his own site, but the times I’ve asked him to guestblog here as well.  He’s always done a great job both here and there, and I’ve considered him one of the most underrated bloggers in the blogosphere for a long time now.  Not only that, but over the years he and I have become blogging buds.

Unfortunately work commitments have made it so that Brian no longer has the time to blog, effectively ending Liberty Pundit/Iowa Voice’s three and a half year run.  Once the domain expires in a couple of weeks, Liberty Pundit will be no more

He did not email me about this before he made his decision – he knows I would have tried to talk him out of it

If you get a chance, please visit his blog and post some well wishes to him (or here – he’ll see them either way).  I have told him he has an open spot here to guest post anytime he wants to.
