Stanley Kurtz has written a well-researched article on something we don’t read much about in the MSM: Obama’s tenure as a state senator in IL. The last time I read anything this insightful about his years in the IL state senate was when former Chicago-based reporter Todd Spivak wrote in February about his time covering Obama from 2000-2003, the last leg of Obama’s time in the state senate before becoming a US Senator.
Kurtz’s article is long – 11 pages printed, but well-worth reading for those interested in knowing more background on Obama during the time period before his rise to fame as a rock star-like figure in DC.

AP (via the LA Times) discovers Obama-mentor Frank Marshall Davis, but it appears a bit more complicated then they figured out.
Thanks for the link ST. Between this and Freddoso’s new book on Obama, the “he has no record” argument is being replaced by “Oh, this is his record? Ewww!”
Any extremely important look at the real Obama. We are known best by our past. No one has yet shown Obama has had an epiphany that would have changed him. Thus, what he has done is what he will do. God help us if he is elected.
