Denver for August 16th…

The high temperature at Denver International Airport today was 58
degrees.

This 58 degree reading will replace the previous low maximum
temperature record for August 16th which was 63 degrees set 118
years ago in 1890.

This of course will change to a record warming trend next week. Once the Dem blowhards fly into Denver I expect this to change. We all know that the sun is going to shine on BO 24/7 the whole of the Dem convention too, so I expect that the cooling trend that has gripped the entire Mid-West will reverse. – Lorica

You can say that again. The Obama response shows he has no idea how to handle an international crisis.

Right out of the gate, he started by finding no difference between the invader and the invaded:

Nice bit of moral equivalence there, at the same time as Putin was using the “But she was asking for it” defense to explain the attack.

We’re used to moral bankruptcy from the left. Expect so much more of the same from an Obama administation.

But then, realizing this wishy-washy nonsense was winning him no friends, he calls for – you guessed it – the U.N. to step in. Is Obama so completely ignorant that he doesn’t know Russia has a Security Council veto? Really, that’s a serious question. Does this fool think he can make Russia vote to stop its own invasion? How…by dragging in his teleprompter and reciting a speech that will give the Russian UN ambassador a thrill down his leg??

Better yet, why doesn’t Obama just will a stop to the violence? I mean, if he can make the oceans stop rising by his force of personality, he should be able to make bombs stop falling.

Well, they have made some mistakes, but to say they have demonstrated weak leadership in all matters seems a little broad. Perhaps you could be a little more specific with some examples, hmm?

i mean, just look at Dubya….. people can barely stand listening to him, especially as he stands weak and helpless and the Russians trounce our close ally, Georgia.

The dems blasted McCain’s “aggressive” response to Russia’s attack, yet you seem to have no comment on that.

What should we do? Should we launch an attack on Russia? Launch some missiles?

Actually, if President Bush has done anything, he has exposed the irrelevancy of the UN and our Eurpean “Allies”. The wake up call was Sept. 11th, and all of our allies had an opportunity to join us in combatting the evil that is presently running rampid thru this world. Do you honestly believe that if the countries that make up the EU had any serious standing military, and was willing to use it, that Russia would be able to destroy Georgia. If anyone has made us weak it has been the do nothing, CYA, spineless, seditious Democrats who virtually all decided to change their vote once all the evidence came in. You know who really made us weaker… People who continued to vote for these flip floppers and opportunists instead of making an example of them.
