OMG Yes Biden!!! The only man in human history to run for President 10 times and never get above 10 percent. You would think after the 1st 5 times he would take the hint…I guess that goes against the liberal meglomaniac psyche. Maybe we can get him to give us a history lesson on slave states again. Perhaps McCain heard you, S.T.: McCain won't choose pro-abortion Running mate

Several sources at the RNC told FOX News that in the last 36 hours, senior McCain advisers and aides have told RNC officials that McCain "got the message" last week that choosing a running mate who supports abortion rights would not be helpful.

Back from vacation!

I would cheer a Biden pick: the man is a complete idiot and blowhard who doesn’t know a fourth as much about foreign affairs as his ego tells him. He’s the author of the single worst idea of the Iraq campaign: breaking up a sovereign ally into ethnic enclaves. Between him and the Prophet Barack, the Democratic campaign this year will be a foot-in-mouth fiesta.

Bring it on.

Regarding McCain’s choice, I’d have little problem with a pro-choice Republican, but then I’m not a social conservative and abortion is not a litmus-test issue for me. (For me, the red-line issue is the war with jihadist Islam) And Tom Ridge was a popular governor in PA, so I can see the attraction of picking him: Pennsylvania is winnable for the Republicans this year.

On the other hand, Maverick’s campaign has spent a lot of time and effort building bridges to social conservatives, and I’d be surprised to see him endanger that work by picking a Veep who would set them howling. Besides, it’s not as if he needs a moderate running-mate to attract independent votes: he’s already doing well with that category.

My guess is still that it will be Romney, who would utterly destroy Biden in any debates. It’s too bad Sarah Palin’s (conveniently timed) troubles have probably taken her out of the running; I’ve come to be quite impressed with her. (And not just because she’s a hottie. )
