She was an interesting woman to watch during the primaries, even for someone on the other side of the partisan divide – vivacious and passionate about politics.

This is so sad. Personally, I’m terrified of things like stroke and aneurysms, since even if you do survive it’s usually with brain damage and such. I’d rather drop dead of a heart attack, but sometimes life has different plans.

I hope she either recovers, or passes peacefully without pain. Not much else to hope for sadly. Seems like a fair number of politcos have had similar problems lately, either strokes or aneurysms or brain tumors. That’s a sad trend we could do without.
