I'm on the same page as Trish and Anthony. I'm tired of candidates who are afraid - or at least reluctant - to hammer the leftists hard on their weaknesses. Having just finished reading Crazies to the Left of Me, Wimps to the Right, I'm encouraged that McCain's campaign isn't being wimpy. By the way, there's a new McCain ad that does a nice job mixing Obama's own words with more Ten Commandments footage. It's here, if you haven't seen it yet.

I finally figured McCain out: he wants to run an honorable campaign and won’t fling mud first, but he’s ready for a brawl if the other guy starts one. His hero is Teddy Roosevelt, so this makes sense. And you can bet that ad about Ayers from the independent group got a smile from him, too. Mac is quite happy to get rough, once the other side has “gone there.”

I know he’ll frustrate the heck out of me at times as president, but, right now, I’m liking him a lot. And I think there are a lot of people not giving his campaign enough credit.

And the Democrats have chosen that sanctimonious, anti-Semitic twerp Jimmy Carter as their opening speaker at the convention. I couldn’t have scripted this better.

I’m not McCain’s biggest fan, but at least the Republicans finally have a candidate who’s not afraid of playing hardball.

I don’t care how much money a candidate has. I care about what he’s planning to do with mine.

The McCain people are apparently prepping a new ad hitting The One for his Rezko associations, while an independent group has put out a hard-hitting ad about the Prophet Barack’s buddy, William Ayers.

Methinks Obama is going to learn a lesson about glass houses and stones.

So the Democrats want to appeal to class envy. You shouldn’t vote for McCain because he’s rich.

Actually, my understanding is that Cindy McCain is the one with the money.

By the way, does anyone remember who the Dems nominated for president four years ago? I’m sure it couldn’t have been someone who married into wealth, could it?
