Yes, they did:
Standing on the periphery of the football field serving as the Democratic convention floor, dozens of men and women wearing green media floor passes chanted along with the crowd.
Two members of the foreign press exchanged opportunities to take each other’s pictue while wearing an Obama hat and waving a flag.
Several others nearby screamed “woo” during some of Obama’s biggest applause lines.
Related to that, MSNBC’s dueling nitwits Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews were all but levitating while talking about both Obama and the speech he gave.
I feel ill.

ST, this is the year that the “impartial” MSM died. They no longer pretend to hide their bias. I only use TV news for weather and traffic reports, newspapers for arts and entertainment, and get my REAL news from the internet and talk radio.
You are right on about Olbermann and Leg Thriller.
When I heard their comments, I felt like I missed out on the speech they saw.

Golly, I’m surprised Olberjerk didn’t ease the seat back, loosen the tie, and sexually satisfiy himself right there after the beach.
That display by the media was sad to witness. I wonder if mainstream America sees the writing on the wall here at all. Scares me more and more each day. How about yall?
Sadly, this kind of “journalism” will be immitated by the next generation of “journalists”. The MSM treats these events like they’re sporting events. I swear I’m watching ESPN College Game Day. We the people are to blame. Just because the wolf is leading us to our demise doesn’t me we have to follow.
Well, this is the way it is. Over on CNN, where adults preside, Wolf Blitzer asked The Eternal Advisor David Gergen if “we’re drinking the Kool Aid here,” after Campbell Brown and John King had bordered on gush-o-rama. Surprisingly Gergen, who I would have expected to have said “yes,” and offered a few buts, did not.
The simple fact is, free at last of the Clintons, Obama came out and delivered precisely the speech he had to give. As he did in the primary season, he has anticipated the attacks the GOP will make, and he dealt with them. And I suppose the polls will show an Obama rise, as those idiotic twits who change their minds every two minutes will be choosing Obama. This week anyway.
I imagine a few GOP adverts are being hastily rewritten. And McCain better pick Sarah Palin!
