Over on CNN, where adults preside, Wolf Blitzer asked The Eternal Advisor David Gergen if "we're drinking the Kool Aid here," after Campbell Brown and John King had bordered on gush-o-rama. Surprisingly Gergen, who I would have expected to have said "yes," and offered a few buts, did not. The simple fact is, free at last of the Clintons, Obama came out and delivered precisely the speech he had to give. As he did in the primary season, he has anticipated the attacks the GOP will make, and he dealt with them. And I suppose the polls will show an Obama rise, as those idiotic twits who change their minds every two minutes will be choosing Obama. This week anyway. I imagine a few GOP adverts are being hastily rewritten. And McCain better pick Sarah Palin! Well, this is the way it is. They no longer pretend to hide their bias. I only use TV news for weather and traffic reports, newspapers for arts and entertainment, and get my REAL news from the internet and talk radio.
