with the Super Bowl champion New York Giants beating the Washington Redskins 16-7, but most of us poljunkies were too keyed up about the RNC to really notice.

Giants, not a real impressive win, from an offensive standpoint, but, a win over the evil forces of the Washington Deadskins.

Second best Jets moment. Darelle Revis's interception of Pennington, which ended his courageous comeback against their former team. There was offensive interference on the play (correctly called by the refs), and Revis held on anyway. Favre-Thompson was a major malfunction (I really would like to say something else, but this isn't my place, and I'm in mixed company) waiting to happen. I knew Thompson's #1 goal as GM was to run Favre out of town, but I was surprised when Favre finally took the bait. For our general managers sake; well maybe not because he deserves a good flogging for letting the living legend ever play a game for someone other than Green Bay; any ways for his sake Aaron Rogers better play like an all-pro on Monday or maybe he will get that flogging, or his dog burned down, or his house shot.
