Darn it! Update – 11:16 PM: The bad news just keeps rolling in.  It looks like actress/comedian Janeane Garofalo won’t be giving Mccain-Palin her endorsement, either.

ABC News takes matters into its own hands in “Troopergate” matter (MORE: ALASKA AG ASKS FOR WITHDRAWAL OF SUBPOENAS FOR STATE EMPLOYEES)

Posted by: ST on September 16, 2008 at 10:41 pm » 1 Comment

The day after Alaska government emails were released in an attempt to prove to the public that the reason former Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan was fired by Gov. Palin was due to insubordination rather than his refusal to fire her former brother in law, state trooper Mike Wooten, ABC News used the information contained [...]

Barack Obama decries others “lying” about his record …

But apparently when it comes to talking about his own record, he doesn’t mind really lying – at all: In Golden, Colo., today, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., took credit for the stimulus package that passed earlier this year.  “In January, I outlined a plan to help revive our faltering economy,” Obama said, “which formed the [...]

FYI – Tip jar added

You’ll notice to the left, just below the ad section, there’s a Paypal tip jar that will stay up for the forseeable future.  You do not have to have a Paypal account to donate.  I’m normally not too crazy about having one of those things up on the blog, but unfortunately for all of us money [...]

***9/19 Update: I have issued a retraction for this post as new information has come to light contradicting some of the original information reported.*** ——– I don’t want to believe it, but it is indeed true – as per Obama’s own national security spokesperson Wendy Morigi (emphasis added): In the New York Post [link here. Lots to talk about this morning – not sure how much time I’ll have so I’m going to condense a few hot topics into one post. —– First up: In a must-read, NRO’s Byron York explains how McCain’s ad hitting Obama on his support for sex ed to be taught to kindergartners was “not a lie” as [...]

The latest Gov. Palin “scandal”: She owns her own tanning bed!

Posted by: ST on September 16, 2008 at 12:29 am » 11 Comments

This calls for a serious reconsideration of her candidacy: On the campaign trail, Sarah Palin likes to brag about how she put the Alaska state jet on eBay and fired the governor’s personal chef. One item that doesn’t appear in her stump speech, however, is the personal tanning bed Palin had installed in the governor’s [...]
