If you read some of the stuff online, you’ll understand why. I went to wordpress.com yesterday. A leading blog post consisted of “Please America, please wake up and vote for Obama! He’s the only one that can save us.” This isn’t rational at all. The Net is full of grown up Obama supporters who sound like 10 year olds. They don’t know what his record is and don’t care.

Yes, remember, when Republicans warn of terrorist attacks we are “fearmongering”. When democrats scream bloody murder about how horrible things are they are simply “telling it like it is”.

The fact that these people could someday be in charge of this country is absolutely horrifying. Their ignorance and complete refusal to even acknowledge other opinions is chilling.

McCain-Palin ‘08.

It has nothing to do with your husband’s skin color or ancestry, or with party-line voting. It has everything to do with policy and character.

Regarding Michelle being off-limits, you have to love the Obama campaign’s double standard: Michelle can campaign all she wants on behalf of her husband, but to criticize anything she says is out of bounds.

On the other hand, Cindy McCain, who as far as I know does not make independent campaign stops for her husband, is open to attack over the number of houses they own on account of her being a successful businesswoman.

Nothing like consistency.
