ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) – A massive suicide truck bomb devastated the heavily guarded Marriott Hotel in Pakistan’s capital Saturday, killing at least 40 people and wounding at least 100. Officials feared there were dozens more dead inside the burning building.
The blast targeting the U.S. hotel chain appeared to be one of the largest terrorist attacks ever in Pakistan, leaving a vast crater some 30 feet deep in front of the main building, where rescuers ferried a stream of bloodied bodies.

Apparently this is the reward you get for allying yourself with Al-Queda. Let us hope that Pakistan allows us greater influence into their north region after this attack and we can eliminate this enemy. – Lorica

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Armed Services Chairman Carl Levin teamed up to block a vote on a bipartisan resolution “recognizing the strategic success of the troop surge in Iraq” and thanking our men and women in uniform for their efforts.

These people are beneath contempt.

Obama fan threatens Palin with gang rape

When Sandra warns Sarah Palin not to come into Manhattan lest she get gang-raped by some of Sandra’s big black brothers, she’s being provocative, combative, humorous, and yes, let’s allow, disgusting.

Rangel calls Palin “disabled”.

Already under fire for his tax troubles, Manhattan Congressman Charles Rangel really put his foot in his mouth on Friday.

In a CBS 2 HD exclusive interview Rep. Rangel called Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin “disabled.”

The question was simple. Why are the Democrats so afraid of Palin and her popularity.

The answer was astonishing.

“You got to be kind to the disabled” Rangel said.

That’s right. The charman of the powerful House Ways & Means Committee called Palin disabled — even when CBS 2 HD called him on it.

CBS 2 HD: “You got to be kind to the disabled?

Rangel: “Yes.”

CBS 2 HD: “She’s disabled?”

Rangel: “There’s no question about it politically. It’s a nightmare to think that a person’s foreign policy is based on their ability to look at Russia from where they live.

Can you imagine the howling, the absolute bloodcurdling screams from the left had a prominent Republican referred to Hillary as “disabled”, especially if she had a downs syndrome baby.

The dems really are some of the lowest forms of life on the planet. Absolutely disgusting.

Biden: End “cowboy mentality” of Bush-McCain era

STERLING, Va. (AP) – Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden says part of the solution to the country’s financial crisis is “ending the cowboy mentality of the Bush-McCain era.”
At a rally Friday in Sterling, Va., that drew roughly 1,000 people, Biden said McCain is against government regulation of the financial sector and helped foster a culture that led to the meltdown on Wall Street and in the banking industry.

Maryland Senator Barbara Mikulski introduced Biden at the rally, which was focused on women’s issues. She referred to the Republican vice presidential nominee, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, as “George Bush in earrings.”

Does Biden even know what he is talking about?? Didn’t he vote against Mac’s attempt to rein in the illegalities going on at FM & FM. Prior to that GW tried to, but our dear friends in the Democratic party didn’t want their golden goose upset so they blocked every attempt. Now when the chips are down, where are the Dems??
