Ok, this is getting silly, and will increase the criticism coming from media/leftie quarters that Gov. Palin can’t handle herself on her own and needs more time. Not to mention how voters will view the proposed veep debate postponement. Her sit down interview with Perky Couric tonight in which Couric threw out a bunch of “gotcha” questions won’t help, either.
I can understand McCain looking to postpone the Friday debate until the “econ-crisis” issue gets resolved, but turning around and saying it should be rescheduled on the day of the veep debate, and that the veep debate should be moved til a later date is just a bad move.
BTW, the McCain campaign is saying that unless a bill is agreed on by Friday, he will not be at the Fri. night debate.

Eh, I don’t agree, ST. People are looking forward to the Veep debate, sure (Whether to watch Palin kick Joe’s hind end or just to watch Joe embarrass himself is an open question.), but I don’t see anyone really caring if that particular debate gets delayed. In fact, the only ones who will care are the whiny media (who should be asked about The One’s press availability), lefty blogs, and Righties like us who are annoyed by them.
I think the Middle, who will decide this election, will be more riveted to how Big Mac’s gambit today plays out.
One of the more sensible Democrats agrees that the campaign should limit Palin’s press access: Kirsten Powers: Don’t Meet The Press
