So wait…I’m confused. Is CNN now suddenly controlled by a bunch of racists? Because weren’t we just told that even mentioning that Obama and Ayers are associates is proof positive of racism?

What took so long? CNN and the other MSM should have done this a year ago. If they had, it might be McCain v. Hillary Clinton. At any rate, it was the McCain campaign, led by Sarah Palin, that finally forced their hand. I’m afraid it might be too late, but it’s important that voters know the relevant facts about both candidates before they vote. If they decide it doesn’t matter, that’s their (our) choice, and they (we) will have made their (our) bed and have to lie in it for at least the next four years, and longer, considering how much lasting damage Obama can do in four years.

But Tom TB you don’t understand. Just because Ayers lived close enough for the Obama’s to walk over with the picinic basket full for this little get together, doesn’t mean he actually knew William Ayers. Sorry I couldn’t even keep a staight face on that one.

I heard on the radio today that Barry is trying to put out some stupid story about him not knowing what Ayers was prior to their friendship. LOL Isn’t this a repeat of Barry not being in church when his pastor was spewing his hate???

Obama launched his political career at Ayers’ house, was selected by Ayers to be the first chairman of the board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which Ayers co-founded; a position Obama held for 8 years, a period during which Ayers remained active. They served together on the Woods fund board for 3 years. Bill Ayers is unrepentent about his and his fellow Weather Underground members actions, that ended in 1981 with the Brinks armored truck robbery(Obama was 20 years old). He describes himself as “a Communist with a small c.” We should be judged by the company we keep.

I have a little time before work, and I’ve come across a couple of items I want to share: First, CNN’s Anderson Cooper presented a reasonably accurate report on the Ayers-Obama relationship. It’s not perfect — it doesn’t delve deeply……

Helen, I disagree. As I recall, BO described Bill Ayers an just someone who lives in the neighborhood. Bad BO omittted the word just, his statement would have been factual, but econoical with the truth Alas by using the word just, BO assert their was nothing beyond being heighbors and now, as even CNN acknoweleges, that is just not true.

There is an expression that you might like to use in this connection. It was first used by a top British civil servant in court. He referred to being “economical with the truth”. It applies to most politicians but to some more than others.
