Photos – McCain rally 10/18/08

Another Joe the PlumberSorry I’m a couple of days behind on adding my photos from this past Saturday’s rally. I ended up house/catsitting for an extra day, so I was only this evening able to view, edit, upload, and caption the pix. The one to your left is of another Joe the plumber – Concord, NC version :D

They aren’t the best in the world, but that’s what I get for not arriving sooner. I actually wasn’t in a bad spot to get some arrival/departure pix, but there was so much activity going on around me, I was having to stand on my tip toes to try and take pix, and there were hands in the air with signs and cameras and thumbs up, all of which made it more difficult to perfectly frame and capture an image on film. Ah well …

  1. Those photos are pretty good, considering how the floor must’ve been shaking.

And those Secret Service guys are big! :o

I posted a few pictures my hubby took as well. According to the GOP there were approximately 10,000 there, and you can see the crowds better in the outside pictures where they are 4-6 deep for the length of the building/parking lots and around the corner. I think there was approximately 7000 there, based on the number of tickets taken.

Did you see the guy in the Obama mask standing next to the woman in the Palin mask? She had a “Stop Obama Express” t shirt and his said “Plumbers are broke”.

It’s hard to believe that NC is a toss up from that crowd. There are 26,000+ ACORN registrations in the state, and the new early voting law allows a person to register and vote same day, just by supplying proof of residence. Ripe with fraud potential.

I voted last Friday and observed as two young men came in a registered. They looked around the room nervously – I just had a feeling they were not supposed to be there – but hey – what do I know? Still who gets ‘nervous’ voting?

The only way the dems get this state is by cheating. He’s pulling much smaller crowds here.

ST, I almost called you Sat morning, but was afraid it was too early, we were in line by 8. But it looks like you were able to get some good pictures anyway.

And since my pretty daughter was with me (women for McCain), we were chosen to stand behind the stage and had the opportunity to shake JM and CM’s hands. It was a great rally.
