You know today I have gotten jokes left and right. Whether it is you better drink lots of water today for there will be crackers that are salty, to they are pulling up the rose garden and planting watermelons. I am so sick of it already. He won. Yes It is historic. He is the first Bi-racial AMERICAN in the White House. He didnt get my vote but he has my support and Im atleast going to give him a chance. ONLY 1 after that its fair game.
I plan to teach my nephew everything I can about how I was raised. I pray that that will be enough. Our children only learn what we as parents, adults teach them. You know I wonder if Barry hadnt had 68% of the young vote would he still have been President Elect?
I hear so much in my line of work these Young adults complaining about what they arent getting from the parents. Whether it is clothes from this store or a car from that lot. I think the voting age needs to be raised to 25. They need to get out there and see how hard it is to earn a living and the watch it go away to people who are not deserving of it. I earned it why is it ok for others to spend it?

We are in for a tragic 4 years. But, it ain`t the end… I, for one, am going to write to the hmfic, Republican Party elaborating on the following theme:

Our Party is responsible for this! Sometime after president Reagan you and our elected stopped listening to conservative Americans! You became indistinguishable from the “Big Government” Democrats at the federal level (and some State levels…).

Senator McCain was the poster-child of this drift away from conservatism. Well! The invoice has arrived and will be a very painful expense for the next 4 years…

Now is the time to find a leader or leaders and develop(again…) a return to the Republican strengths and virtues that had, traditionally, always been the basis for conservatism. And, I remind you kept America strong and secure.

I know from my marine military profession and studies in military history that *lost battles* provide better, precise lessons learned than do victories. I have no doubt that the next administration will provide ample rationale for you!

I also realize that what is to come will involve action by ALL of us, not just Republican Party leadership… I intend to do all that I can do and ask that my fellow conservatives do the same.

WE have a lot of hard work to do and it is time to do it; period, end of story!!!!!!

I have intelligent friends and there are many right here, so let’s suck it up and move forward.

On Jan 20, 2009 the clouds will part, a ray of sunshine will beam down upon everyone, Islamic extremists will hang up their suicide vests, the air will become cleaner instantly, everyone will have a job that pays $100,000 a year as we will all be citizens of the world.

Summarizing, we will have a military weakened by key departures and a 25% cut in budget (if the congressional far left has its way).

And this will happen just as the new administration faces the crisis test Joe Biden warned us about. And, if you believe the campaign rhetoric (I don’t), it will happen while we begin more aggressive incursions into Pakistan to roust out bin Laden.

Can will safely say this is a “center-left” country now?

Nope. At least three anti-same sex marriage ballot measures passed last night, including here in liberal California. That tells me that social conservatism is alive and well. There were reasons for Obama’s win (including Mac running a weak campaign), but a shift to the Left isn’t among them.
