Doesn’t this sound like Barack himself, tough to believe this was written over 30 years ago by a man who used bombs to create “the change we need”:

The immediate task for the left is this: organize the masses of people against imperialism and for revolution. Pull together friends and comrades, whether three or thirty. Explain the roots of the current economic and social crisis. Fight for jobs and for funds for urgent relief programs. Wealth should be taken from the Pentagon budget and used to rebuild our cities, schools and hospitals.

My prediction: the ACLU will quietly withdraw support from any effort to conduct a serious investigation as soon as possible, and before inauguration day in any event.

In a related development, the American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio on Friday renewed its call for Strickland and other state officials to enact regulations protecting private information on state databases in the wake of the “Joe the Plumber” incident.(emphasis added)

Friday. More than a week after the election. Yet this snooping was going on (and reported) for weeks before the election.

The ACLU looks diligently for malfeasance by liberal Democrats the way a mouse diligently searches for a cat. This is nothing but CYA, like the tiny handful of MSM stories that were less-than-hagiographical about the Messiah.

The ACLU has the right to take the cases it wishes. But we have the right to point out their hypocrisy and double standards, and that they are actually enemies of civil liberties.

Where’s the liberal outrage? Out there chirping alongside the crickets
