Well this is to be expected. After all if Barack can be elected to the presidency, then it should encourage all sorts of idiots to run for office. Matthews is just the latest example of this damned foolishness. – Lorica

It’s so sad that politics in this country has become a popularity contest rather than about the policies of a candidate.

He’s perfect for PA. I mean if they can elect John Murtha time and time again, they’ll elect any idiot.
