Hit them where it hurts them the most ,their pocket . All the liberal tv stations as well as the newspapers are in deep $$$ problems. Way before the recession started they were in trouble already. Many years ago we cancelled the liberal rag Miami Herald as well as Time, Newsweek etc. In the meantime conservative radio is doing great.

It may be the MSM is taking a page from the playbook typical of children. Test the water for what you can get away with and if there is no penalty for the action continue as you please.

If memory serves there are about 70 million registered Democrats, 50 million Republicans and about 40 million independents. Apparently there is no mechanism in place to organize the displeasure of millions into a cohesive voice as in action to affect the bottom line of the MSM to provide the penalty for misbehaving children.

I suppose we can all take a little of the blame for that.
