Interesting that this one man is representative of all Iraqis, and in fact of everyone in the Middle East. On the other hand, the roomful of journalists that did not throw shoes, that attempted to restrain this attacker, and that apologized afterwards are... nothing? What, exactly?

I am putting this post under Losers of the week as I think it is very fitting.

I have some thoughts about what Colin Powell said on Sunday. I find it odd that he still considers himself a Republican. I figured that when he endorsed Barack, that he pretty much switched parties. So for him or anyone who endorsed Barack, to tell the Republican party what to do seems abit condesending to me. I do not consider Powell or Leach a Republican anymore, I never considered Chaffee a Rep. I am not against opposing advice, but with both of these individuals promoting a candidate other than that of the party they are suppose to be a part of I could really careless to hear what either of them have to say now.

Secondly, I believe that Colin Powell was destined to be America's 1st black President. That he threw that all away due to fear, and fear makes a man do stupid things, i.e. see my 1st point. It is sad to see just how far this man has fallen. With the comments made on this latest interview, I don't think the falling has stopped. It is truly sad.

Lastly, it is high time for the conservative wing of the Rep party to take back control from this party. For to long now we have been losing elections to the point where there is almost a super majority in the senate. I can only think that the moderate Republican leadership truly enjoys being the minority party. If things keep going this way, pretty soon this once great party, the party of ideas and convictions, the party of Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt, men of leadership, even thru hardest of times, will be extinct. This "democracy by polling" is an abdication of true leadership, and it needs to end, sadly it won't anytime soon. - Lorica

Cavuto just got done trying to defend O's position and how Governor Blablabla has absolutely nothing to do with him - The O. What I had hoped the gal he was interviewing to say was that if O can't negotiate with one of his own, how the hell is he going to handle some AH, who's paygrade is above just being a thuggish, criminal, lying thief.

Where's the damn popcorn?

I have to wonder how these people are going to feel when this is being done Barack, if he ever goes over to Iraq, which is highly doubtful. Also very doubtful is if he will ever travel to Afghanistan. I can't wait until Barack is President, and the media gets the chance to prop up his every bad decision, and the horrible consequences that are going to ensue. - Lorica

I believe the Left and the media truly believe that on January 20, 2009 the terrorists will all of a sudden love the West, accept the infidels and celebrate Obama as the most powerful man in the world. If what is about to come with an Obama presidency weren't so scary, I'd be laughing. Truly sad.
