My favorite Brit anecdote involves a broadcast where the crew, “Fox News analysts all,” Barnes, Liasson, , Krauthammer, Williams, were at it hammer and tongs and they were hushed by Brit Hume. They all quieted and looked at him kind of penitently and for all the world he seemed like a kindergarten teacher who had stepped into the hall for a moment and had now returned to the pandemonium the class had instantly become upon his departure.

I hear some new guy named Sneery is gonna take his place. I don’t know his last name and I don’t know much about him, but I heard he’s going to be “different” than Brit. A little more “in your face” is the term I heard.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Thank God he is staying on Fox News Sunday. He is pretty much the only reason I keep watching it. I love it when he corrects Juan Williams. Some days he does it so often you could turn it into a beer drinking game, and walk away pretty drunk. – Lorica

I am really going to miss Brit Hume. I’ve long considered him the best, most objective, and most serious TV journalist out there. He should have hosted at least one debate, he’s so far out of the league of the sycophants they chose to actually run the debates. They have some good choices to replace him, Bret Baier should do fine, Chris Wallace would be a good choice too.

At least none of them got “thrills up their leg” during the last election, or if they did they had the sense to keep their mouths shut about it.
