May I point out that Hamas has just passed legislation reintroducing crucifixion to Christians? And our president-elect thinks that he can sit down and talk to these people? Is he not a Christian? Would not Hamas like to take Obama and nail him to a cross if they could?

And so Israel, which has occupied, de-occupied, and now bombed the living daylights out of Gaza, is probably at last determined the only solution is to do to Gaza what Sherman did to Atlanta. The tanks are coming.

And because the Gazans elected Hamas, they have become complicit in what Hamas does, so in some sense I’m less upset at civilian deaths than I might normally be.

Anyway, when the devastation ends, and the Palestinians trudge back into the ruins after knock knock knocking on Egypt’s door and being turned away, and find they have no homes to live in and no bread to eat, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if . . . well let’s just “echo” Marie Antoinette, who never did say, “qu’ils mangent des brioches.”

Presumably they’ve figured out that with the election of Barack Obama they’ve lost their last friend on earth, so there’s no reason to keep the gloves on.

Iran is arming, training, and inspiring Hamas – another proxy in their war against the Jews. Those with memories will recall the Tehranians used the Hezzies in much the same way in Lebannon in 2006.

The AP report that I read made this Israeli operation sound like the Normandy landings. Of course, heavy emphasis on women & children casualities. The only thing missing from AP was the Baby Milk Factory.

We’ve seen it all before, folks. Too many times.

Meanwhile, Iran continues rushing towards nuclear capability….

The WaPo headlined their story: “Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza Strip Imperil Obama’s Peace Chances”

Got that everyone? The real story here isn’t war breaking out in the ME again, or of Israel once again responding to those who would exterminate them, or even that people are dying, or that the only difference between a Hamas “truce” and being next door to a slavering pack of murderous subhumans that are trying to destroy you is… okay, I’m lost on that one.

Nope, the real story here is “uh-oh, those damned Joooos are going to torpedo Obama’s totally cool and ultra hip plan to, uh, do somehting.”
