Liberal bias doesn’t take a break for the holidays

I was in the middle of a leisurely look at this morning’s sales papers, and as it is every week, a Parade magazine was included with the sales papers and coupons. This week’s magazine featured a “best and worst of 2008” year in review of sorts, and I was disappointed but not surprised to see that not only did their campaign highs and lows include all the “highs” for Obama (except for one – McCain’s concession speech, of course) but one of the “lows” for McCain included a now-debunked myth about people allegedly yelling “kill him” and “terrorist” at the mention of Obama’s name at a McCain/Palin rally:.....   [Read More]

Panthers at the Saints (UPDATE: PANTHERS WIN 34-31)

Today is the last day of regular season play, and many teams are out there jockeying for playoff positions. The Panthers are one of them. With a win over 9-7 NFC South division rivals the New Orleans Saints, who will try and play the role of spoiler on their home turf today since they are out of playoff contention, it would mean one Panthers playoff game at home.
