In other words, they used sleep deprivation, cold rooms, sustained isolation, etc., but the just used them too often and too severely.

To the Bush haters this will translate to: “Bush authorized torture!!” and nothing will change their minds.

If these technieques were used improperly then punish the ones who did, it’s that simple.
