The WSJ’s James Taranto has written an excellent piece today [1] on how the mainstream media has turned from being government “watchdogs” (ahem) to government lapdogs, and all it took was a change … in the WH. Specifically it took our celebrity Democrat president.
Yeah, there’s been a little push back [2] against the Obama admin here and there, they’re all just jockeying for position. Make no mistake about it: this media was in the bag for Barack Obama before [3] he even decided to run for president. They’ve got too much invested in his success – and the success of liberalism in general – to suddenly start acting objective.
