I pray that his future decisions do not erase all that our brave men and women have accomplished. Even though I would enjoy holding him accountable, if he's wrong there will be a lot of pain and suffering to go around. Harsh? Perhaps, but this guy's attitudes toward the military in general really tick me off. He had the nerve to thank the UN for the recent elections in Iraq. Hey, here's an idea - why not give the credit to the ones who deserve it? The UN did nothing but enable a terrorist dictator for years. Meanwhile, the American military and courageous Iraqis did what needed to be done - and they succeeded. I think I can say with relative certainty that Obama will not admit he was wrong to oppose the surge. If anything, that Ferengi* will likely try to take credit for success in Iraq. After all, another mental midget (aka Harry Reid) pretty much did the same thing recently. *It didn't occur to me yesterday that with jokes about the size of Obama's ears, one could liken him to "Star Trek"'s big-earred aliens. (I wouldn't be surprised if someone already did this, though.) Granted, they were basically *capitalist* caricatures, but so what? Hey, if Congressman Hu (I think it was him) can call Bush a Klingon, I think I can call Obama a Ferengi.
