Not even two weeks into it, and the bloom is off the rose. My mom and I would fight about Obama for months before the election. She thought he was “the change we need”. I tried to tell her it was all BS, she said I was brainwashed. After the election, I shut up about it, wanting to give our new president the benefit of the doubt. My mom came to me a few days ago to say how disappointed she was. I didn’t want to give a “I told you so” look, but I really couldn’t help it. I thought it would take at least until nearly the end of his term before she saw what his deal was. Sure didn’t take that long.

I won’t give anyone a pass who helped Obama win, mainly the media, because they’ll forget about all his broken promises and tax-dodging nominees/appointments as soon as the economy starts to recover, as it would without any “porkulus package”, and hype sickening praise on him because he saved America. I think I’m going to vomit.
