Seems Arlen Specter, Olympia Snowe, and Susan Collins aren’t enough for “The tainted One”, he heads off for “campaigning” in FL and IN (Mel Martinez & Richard Lugar or nearby George Voinovich).

If it takes a permanent campaign to pass legislation, why didn’t the Republicans bring back Harold Stassen (other than the fact that he’s dead) ?

So much for the brainiest president, the guy who said his best talent was getting people in a room and getting them to talk.
Did they run out of suitable rooms in DC ?

And they said there would be an end of waste, fraud and abuse.
This attempt for a “stimulus” gives us all three.

No doubt, the emperor has no clothes. Saw a video today of a mother of one the marines that died in the Cole. She was very upset about the trial being dismissed and stated she had voted for the wrong president. By the way she was African-American. You’ll start hearing a lot of buyer’s remorse pretty soon. I felt so sad for this lady.

I did not sit home nor did I vote for Obama. I grit my teeth and voted for the R.I.N.O. who was on the Republican ticket.
As I have watched this nightmare unfold, and pray that God will protect my country from socialism and the kool-aid drinkers who put this man in the Presidency, I cannot help remembering that this man has already apologized for my country twice –once in Germany and once on during his all-important television appearance on the Arab network. How many times is he going to remind us that he is the one who was elected??

Arrogance will be this clown’s downfall. I only hope he will be brought down to Earth sooner, rather than later.

I am praying that enough people have made enough of an impact on their Senators that this monstrosity will fall apart.

He is headed off to Indiana to “sell” the bill (campaign-style) in a town hall meeting. I’d be interested to hear him explain to Hoosiers how giving $50 million clams to the National Endowment for the Arts will revive their jobs at the pipe factory…

It also makes me wonder about all of those Republicans who sat home on election day, or voted for Obama as a “protest” vote. How is that working out for you???

Add to that the repeated problems he’s had with some of his nominees and picks for his cabinet and admin – the number of which, to my knowledge, is unprecedented in modern history…

Just to go off on a tangent on this for a bit, having lost three major appointments (Richardson, Daschle, and one other), you have to go back to John Tyler(!) to find a president who had so many high-level appointments fail. One more, and PBO either breaks or ties Tyler’s record.
