Rahm Emanuel is running the Country in the absence of real leadership by the President. Judd Gregg did an honorable thing yesterday putting principle ahead of personal ambition. If Hillary had any self respect she would do the same leaving this incompetent Administration to fall on it's own sword. Of late,Obama seems to be channeling Chavez or maybe even Mugabe.

Since a majority of the populace chose to endorse a bright and shining lie, what is served back, in return, is precisely what they -- implicitly or explicitly -- asked for: more of the same. We should not be surprised, but neither should we imagine that such a culture of lies grew up overnight or can be undone with sharper or more forceful partisanship. Obama is but a symptom of a world that does not value <a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%2014:6;&version=47;" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><strong>ultimate truth</strong></a>. “If the original numbers aren’t as hard as possible, the uses they’re put to get fuzzier and fuzzier…”

The Census thing is all apiece with the entire thrust of Obama’s ascendancy: willful deception, starting with self. Since a majority of the populace chose to endorse a bright and shining lie, what is served back, in return, is precisely what they — implicitly or explicitly — asked for: more of the same.

We should not be surprised, but neither should we imagine that such a culture of lies grew up overnight or can be undone with sharper or more forceful partisanship. Obama is but a symptom of a world that does not value ultimate truth.

Everything Obama is doing was predicted by his Chicago past (maybe not the specifics, but the type), but too few cared to do any research. Argh.
