One idea Waxman's committee staff is looking at is a congressionally mandated policy that would require all TV and radio stations to have in place "advisory boards" that would act as watchdogs to ensure "community needs and opinions" are given fair treatment. Reports from those advisory boards would be used for license renewals and summaries would be reviewed at least annually by FCC staff.

I feel a Democratic "Terri Schiavo" moment coming on as House Democrats will alienate their voters by overreaching.

Does anyone think the ACLU will rush in to protect our civil rights? Today, with the mainstream news media outlets "in the tank" for the administration--void of most honest news reporting--one might apply the same rules to the other side. With the "Fairness Doctrine," will Chris Matthews have a tingle down his leg for someone on the other side?

This country is going to change forever in the next few years. I made myself sick over worry before Obama was elected but choose to not blame myself post-election since I didn't vote for the guy.

What a suprise, not!

So, does that mean we get 12 hours of conservatives on NBC/MSNBC, CNN, CBS, and ABC/ESPN?

Does that mean that the 25 leftist Chicago radio stations have to have 12 hours of conservative radio, and the 2 conservative radio stations have to have 12 hours of leftist cant?

Hello, Bueller?
