Given how the conservative blogosphere has imploded over Rush’s speech at CPAC, I’m wondering why the White House is bothering with this. We seem to be more than capable at tearing ourselves apart without outside assistance.

That aside, the inability of GOP leadership to state that Limbaugh speaks for himself as a conservative and is not the de facto leader of the party is embarrassing. Have we no leaders capable of articulating this position without offending Rush’s fan base? So far, apparently not.

It also warrants mention that we shouldn’t hold the current administration occupying the White House accountable for their actions. After all, look at how the Bush administration went after Michael Moore following the release of Fahrenheit 911 and… oh, wait, that’s right…

Imagine if this was the Bush WH attacking private citizens for excercising their 1st Amendment Rights. Democrats, progressives, the media, the ACLU, et all would be going completely ballistic.

But, since it is Obama doing it, eh, move along, nothing to see, is what we are told by the ACLU, the media, et all.

I saw Ann Coulter being interviewed on TV and realized that the infobabe talking to her had skillfully made Coulter herself the subject. Coulter used up all of those valuable seconds of air time defending herself. The same thing is happening with Rush. Their egos are being used against them. They declare: “I don’t care what is being said about me!”. Then they waste time proving the opposite.

There are few words that come across the president’s lips that have not been blessed by Mr. Axelrod.

So the political commissar is the one who programs the teleprompter.

Now when Karl Rove was an advisor to President Bush, the MSM spent a lot of time sneering and giggling up their collective sleeves about how Bush was a moron and Rove was the brains in the White House. So what do you think – what’s the over/under for how long it takes before we see an MSM piece about how Obama is too stupid to remember his own name without Axelrod putting into the teleprompter for him?

Whatever it is, I’ll take the over…

This is just a distraction while they pass all the socialist agenda. They know Rush cannot keep himself quite and see it for what it is. Just like BO tells people that he does not watch the stock market. All this is to ram as much as they can before reality hits. The big mess will start when the US gov puts out a big bond market offer and is not sold. Then they’ll have to scale back the agenda fast.
