Screwed up in Minnesota

This has become pretty typical of the sexist “standards” set by the likes of Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and other far leftists at MSDNC. They did it with Hillary Clinton during the course of the primary campaign last year, they took sexist digs at Gov. Palin after McCain announced her as his veep running mate, and they’re still doing it.
Polls opened this morning in the NY-20 district for the so-called “referendum on Obama/Congressional Democrats” race between Republican Jim Tedisco, who has served for nearly 30 years in the state Legislature, and Democrat Scott Murphy, a newbie to the political scene. The special election is being held because the seat was previously held by Kirsten Gillibrand, who was chosen by Governor Paterson to replace Hillary Clinton in the US Senate.
I get up every morning thinking I’m finally going to wake up from this national nightmare, but then I read stories like this one about how the Obama admin has set up a “counseling” website for those emotionally affected by the economy, and then I realize that the nightmare isn’t over, and that we still have roughly 3 years and 10 months to go.
