steveegg, not only do the nuts not have roots (at least based in anything resembling facts and reality), many on the right have no roots, either, depending upon talk show hosts for talking points and having nothing below their own, shallow surfaces to use when real thought is required.

Which is worse? Of course, I’d prefer the shallow, non-thinking “conservative” over the leftwing nutroot, but I’d really prefer colleagues/fellowtravelers to actually know why they believe whatever it is they believe.

And that is why re-taking the public education profession is so important.

Isn’t it strange that while still being taught traditionally (and nutroots were so worried about censorship) there was no such thing as “politically correct”?

The thing is, a lot of them were paid to blog. Now that the powers-that-be have what they want (absolute power, which they think they’ll have forever), they no longer need the wild cards of the nutroots.

I guess we’ll find out whether the nuts have roots.
