Well, GWR, that’s why libs take things out of context the way they do. They spin, they manipulate, they go out of their way to hide their true agenda, etc., because they know if people find out what it is they’re really in favor of, they won’t win. They can’t win on the merits, so they lie and obfuscate on the issues. If they stood up and said “This is what I believe”, their party and ideals would implode in about two (if that) election cycles.

Brian, I’d like to think that too. But it’s all we have to go on right now, isn’t it? And I’m sure you’re familiar with John Ziegler’s polling research on how completely uninformed and gullible the average Obama voter is.

The left relies on an unthinking and passive population – otherwise, with the left’s track record of failure, they’d never win an election. It’s one of the reasons they flock to academia and have dumbed down education. Economics, history, you name it – they’ve worked on creating generations of sheep they can manipulate.
