Seventy years ago I used to watch US films enviously noting fitted kitchens and indoor toilets in your country while we had tin baths and outdoor toilets. It took us a long time to catch up. Now we have bloggers from the heart of our democracy doing things by EMail against politicians and their wives of the other persuasion that some “wicked” Americans were doing in the early 1970s (I believe you called it “rat” somthing or other). We call this one Smeargate, and it has replaced the credit crunch as the main topic of conversation. Any messages for your allies? Like get a life perhaps?
