They’re not “misunderstood”, they’re the victims of American imperialism because we have exploited them mercilessly.
Oh, wait. That can be said (according to the loony left) about every other non-european nation on earth.
So what makes the Somalis different? Nothing, except they are willing to defend the sovereignty of their coast and homeland. Even 300-500 miles off that coast.
