Compare Rich’s spittle-flecked rant with Kevin Ferris’ calm and rational approach to the same subject in today’s Philadelphia Inquirer: The real shock to the conscience should be 9/11, not the efforts – however harsh – to prevent such attacks in the future.

Had (KSM) been obliterated in a Predator strike, no one would have cried “war crime.” Since he was captured, given the level of destruction he’d caused and the lives he’d taken, it was legitimate to learn what he knew in an attempt to prevent further attacks. Had his own conscience been shocked by the enormity of his crimes, perhaps he’d have given the information freely. Since he declined, coercion, though troubling, seems only right. If that coercion saved lives, prosecuting interrogators for war crimes would be a shock to the conscience.

The Left will not survive the coming economic tsunami that is the whirlwind fruit of Barry Soetoro’s first hundred days in office. That will be their karma. Ruin.

All of this torture memo stuff is a trial balloon to see how far they can go before this buffoon is impeached for treason.

What Soetoro and his trusty pit bull Rahm “The Bomb” Emmanuel do not realize is that they have sunk the Dhimmicratic Leadership who are all complicit with the so-called torture.

However, I am still waiting for some media type, with the skills to make a simple power point presentation, to show a comparison of what the US did to get the info from KSM and others, with what real torture looks like.

Case closed. The interrogation techniques used by the pussies at the CIA (sorry i believe in old school intelligence gathering) compared to what happens in Saddam era Iraq, and throughout present day eastern europe (Romania anyone), Pakistan, Syria, Iran…et al….. is child’s play.

REALITY CHECK PLEASE. Frank Rich is a boorish fop with a platform. Boycott the NYT. Drive them into the ground for good.

ST, ya’ll outta know by now that when a conservative says something, almost anything, it’s hate speech simply because of its source. When a lib or tinfoil hatter says exactly the same thing its fois de gras and pink champagne, and that’s all there is to it.

In reality, leftists are like blind men trying to umpire at a baseball game: they occasionally get one right, but only because in anything the law of averages says they must. But always their calls are based on nothing more than whim, on banal perception, and not on reality. The same with leftists.

We on the right have recently been accused of being the radical extreme right. A perfect example of perception vs. reality, because the reality is we’ve not moved much at all, and in most cases those moves have been centerward. It is the left that has moved radically left, and in an attempt to make themselves seem the stability of the universe they have accused us of the moving.

Typical projection, typical lies, typical use of the sycophantic media and typical use of perception over reality.

When the New York Times gets on my nerves, I click Yahoo Finance, and check the going price for a share of NYT. Somebody is feeling the pinch, even if Frank Rich doesn’t.
