Where’s the outrage over the “outrage” on Congressional knowledge of EITs?

Both Politico and ABC’s The Note have reported this week about a report prepared by the DNI’s office and submitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee that contains a chronology of Congressional briefings on the use of EITs (enhanced interrogation techniques). How many times were select members of Congress briefed?

40.

That severely undercuts the claims of House Speaker Pelosi and others who have claimed that they “didn’t know” about the use of any EITs on captured terrorists like KSM and Abu Zubaydah.

What does this all mean? That the condemnations from Democrats like Pelosi that have spewed forth since Obama has taken office about how EITs are “torture” and should never be allowed to happen were empty statements designed to use the debate over the issue of EITs for political gain.

Democrats. Playing politics with our national security. For political gain. Gee, we’ve never seen that before, have we?

Where’s the outrage? Where’s the in depth, minute by minute breathless reporting from the newspaper of record, and MSDNC?

Not.holding.breath.
