Reminder: Bill Ayers was an unrepentant domestic terrorist, too

Here’s another thing to keep in mind in the weeks to come as the left and the mainstream media continue their campaigns to smear all pro-lifers for the actions of a few: Bill Ayers was an unrepentant domestic terrorist, too, and he and Barack Obama had more than just a “passing neighbor on the street” association while Obama was a rising star in Chicago/Illinois politics.

And as we all remember, our President was given – as a candidate – a complete pass on this issue, as if it were no big deal that a guy running for President would associate in any way with a thug who hated this country so much he was willing to kill [or try very hard to] the people in it who he thought were destroying it:

Characterizing Weatherman as “an American Red Army,” Ayers summed up the organization’s ideology as follows: “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, Kill your parents.”

That was back in the early days of The Weathermen. He hasn’t changed his views on this country at all. Read much more on Ayers’ despicable actions against this country – and his attempted justifications for them – here.

Barack Obama and his campaign were so infuriated over the attempts by respected conservative writers to document his ties with Bill Ayers, that they did their best to silence the opposition.

In a 2001 interview, published on 9-11, here’s what Ayers had to say about his domestic terrorist past:

”I don’t regret setting bombs,” Bill Ayers said. ”I feel we didn’t do enough.”

With all that in mind, consider this: The suspect in the George Tiller murder has been named, and per Ed Morrissey, all signs point to Tiller indeed being targeted for the practice of PBAs. According to KSHB-TV, the suspect’s name is Scott Roeder, a known anti-abortion activist. Now, let’s imagine for a moment that Roeder did this to an abortion doctor after RvW, went on the run for years, and then somehow became a “respectable” member of the community. He then gives an interview in 2001 saying he “wished he had done more” back in the day to “stop” the practice of abortion.

Then imagine that John McCain had more than just a casual association with Roeder and did little to distance himself during the course of his campaign for president.

What do you think would have happened? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that he would have gone nowhere fast – he would not have even become the Republican nominee, and even if by some wild chance he had, he would have been dogged for weeks over his ties to Roeder, the press never leaving him alone about it, and the left would be in constant fits of rage, until McCain would have been forced to admit that Roeder was a disgusting person that he should never have associated with in any way whatsoever. Something Barack Obama never admitted, and was never pushed to admit by the fawning mainstream press.

Just remember all this as you prepare to listen in the days to come about to how Tiller’s murder is “proof” of how “crazy” all pro-lifers are, and as you listen to the left – and the MSM – (rightly) talk about how murder is no way to get beyond differences in opinion, think back how they never expressed outrage, and had no problems with then-candidate Barack Obama’s close association with a “respectable” Chicago educator who believed – and still believes – just the oppposite.

The stench of the left’s hypocrisy grows stronger by the minute.
