Media continues to cover for Obama, even on the economy

No surprise here, eh? That must explain why he’s still getting good marks on the economy, even if his approval numbers on spending and the deficit are below 50% now.

Related to all this, Phil Bronstein, Editor at Large of the SF Chronicle, writes a timely piece titled “Love or lust, Obama and the fawning press need to get a room. It’s too good to excerpt, so make sure to click on the link to read the whole thing. He’s a guy who has been in the media biz for some time now, so he has a good idea of when the MSM is misbehaving.

    I don’t buy newspapers,magazines or watch much tv except the business channels or fox. Hit them in the pockets. That’s why they are going bankrupt.

    Has anyone seen this garbage about Obama saying how we need to go back to Pay as You Go.. or PAGO??? What I want to know, is how can we go back to PAGO, and still have socialized healthcare, which will add 1 TRILLION, yes trillion with a T, to the budget?? Does this make any sense to anyone?? Seems to be more of the Obama shuck and jive.

    And God knows the “critical” thinkers i.e. a** kissers, in the newsmedia certainly haven’t figured it out yet. – Lorica
