Sister, Thanks for the shout out.

I read your blog all the time. I'm one of those Military Dads that is currently deployed. I spent my Father's day on watch in Iraq. Appropriately, my wife and two daughters went shopping back home. No worries, I got my phone call, I'm all good.

Thanks again for the mention.

Wonderful sentiments, for the most part.

My question is, why does His Hollowness preach this to us, then turn around with his policies and programs and try to deprive us, his very subjects (in his mind) of our God-given rights to earn the honor and respect, by forcing a nanny guvmint on us all? His programs are designed to do two things only: First and most important, make liberals themselves feel good because they're doing something for "those who can't do it for themselves (no matter the actual consequences of those policies and programs).

Second, the policies and programs are designed specifically to enslave those they purportedly are designed to help, by taking away both any initiative to improve and to remove any stigma attached to bad (deviant) behavior.

So, for us fathers paying attention, do what he says, not what he practices by policy.
