There is nothing about MMGW that can stand examination, and anything written (or said to a camera) can (theoretically) be vetted. Of course, we’re talking the MSM here, so vetting of a socialist plot won’t happen, and they shore ’nuff won’t spend the time digging up any real scientific data.

The joke with Nixon was, “Would you buy a used car from this man?” Quite frankly, I wouldn’t buy a NEW car from Obama.

Well, see, you just don’t get it, do you, ST? Having secret negotiations is just fine, as long as we do it in the name of Hope and Change, Inc.®. You didn’t get the memo??

I’m sure Waxman will ignore the request. Times change. But a few years ago, he demanded all kinds of documentation based only on suspicion:

“At the very least, the confluence of these actions creates an appearance of impropriety,” Waxman wrote. “I urge you to reevaluate your refusal to provide the public with information about the Administration’s dealings with Enron.

But of course, Browner telling her new lackeys in the auto industry to put nothing in writing doesn’t have the “appearance of impropriety”, right??

This is a crisis! Do you expect our public officials to read bills before passing them, or actually take notes at meetings? They don’t have time….they need to ram another piece of the socialist agenda through before the public finishes its nap.

Oh, and in the sprit of ST’s post on Tuesday, here’s another George Carlin clip, on people like Browner who want to “save the planet” (language warning).

My first thought when I read this today was “How Nixonian of Team Hopenchange.” And it’s true: for someone who rode in on a unicorn promising to “Change the way Washington works, bring new transparency, and give everyone candy,” this is exactly the kind of thing Tricky Dick would have done.
