Since when the hell did the MSM ever give a damn about Hitler comparisons?

If you’re like me, you’re pretty disgusted and close to nauseous over hearing the repeated “outrage” from the mainstream mediots about the alleged comparisons the “mobsters” at the ObamaCare town halls are making between Hitler and Obama. Ever since Pelosi’s “swastika” crack, the MSM (and their cohorts at far left liberal blogs) have been scouring town halls across the country looking for any evidence whatsoever of signs made by alleged “conservative mobsters” featuring swastikas and/or images of Hitler and Obama together, in desperate attempts to prove how diehard conservatives have supposedly “lost it” over Obama and thus should be ignored when it comes to the discussion and debate over ObamaCare.

Fortunately, Bill Sammon at Fox News has done the work liberals at other mainstream media news networks never will, and that’s scrutinize the attitudes of their MSM colleagues during the Bush administration – specifically, how little attention these same outraged news outlets paid to instances of Bush being called the worst names, being threatened, things thrown at him, etc:

News outlets that are focusing on the incendiary rhetoric of conservatives outside President Obama’s town hall meeting Tuesday ignored the incendiary rhetoric — and even violence — of liberals outside an appearance by former President George W. Bush in 2002.

When Bush visited Portland, Ore., for a fundraiser, protesters stalked his motorcade, assailed his limousine and stoned a car containing his advisers. Chanting “Bush is a terrorist!”, the demonstrators bullied passers-by, including gay softball players and a wheelchair-bound grandfather with multiple sclerosis.

One protester even brandished a sign that seemed to advocate Bush’s assassination. The man held a large photo of Bush that had been doctored to show a gun barrel pressed against his temple.

“BUSH: WANTED, DEAD OR ALIVE,” read the placard, which had an X over the word “ALIVE.”

Another poster showed Bush’s face with the words: “F— YOU, MOTHERF—ER!”

A third sign urged motorists to “HONK IF YOU HATE BUSH.” A fourth declared: “CHRISTIAN FASCISM,” with a swastika in place of the letter S in each word.

Although reporters from numerous national news organizations were traveling with Bush and witnessed the protest, none reported that protesters were shrieking at Republican donors epithets like “Slut!” “Whore!” and “Fascists!”

Frank Dulcich, president and CEO of Pacific Seafood Group, had a cup of liquid thrown into his face, and then was surrounded by a group of menacing protesters, including several who wore masks. Donald Tykeson, 75, who had multiple sclerosis and was confined to a wheelchair, was blocked by a thug who threatened him.

Protesters slashed the tires of several state patrol cruisers and leapt onto an occupied police car, slamming the hood and blocking the windshield with placards. A female police officer was knocked to the street by advancing protesters, badly injuring her wrist.

The angry protest grew so violent that the Secret Service was forced to take the highly unusual step of using a backup route for Bush’s motorcade because the primary route had been compromised by protesters, one of whom pounded his fist on the president’s moving limousine.

All the while, angry demonstrators brandished signs with incendiary rhetoric, such as “9/11 – YOU LET IT HAPPEN, SHRUB,” and “BUSH: BASTARD CHILD OF THE SUPREME COURT.” One sign read: “IMPEACH THE COURT-APPOINTED JUNTA AND THE FASCIST, EGOMANIACAL, BLOOD-SWILLING BEAST!”

Yet none of these signs were cited in the national media’s coverage of the event. By contrast, the press focused extensively on over-the-top signs held by Obama critics at the president’s town hall event held Tuesday in New Hampshire.

And did the media focus on the message these fanatical Bush haters were sending in January 2005 around the time of Bush’s second inauguration? Messages like “Bush is a Nazi” and is the “closest thing to a fascist this country has ever seen”? Nope. The most extensive collection of pictures depicting Bush and others in his administration as “Hitleresque” can be found at Zombie’s website. Continuously scrolling and clicking some of the links there will show people just how often the Bush administration was trashed by the far left as being this country’s version of Adolf Hitler. Do you remember the mainstream media’s outrage and implications that the comparisons of Bush and his administration to Nazis were strong signs of how the Democratic party had “lost its way”? I sure as hell don’t remember it, because it simply didn’t happen.

You couldn’t watch an anti-war protest without seeing numerous comparisons between Bush and Hitler. At the same time, if the MSM did dare to comment on it, it was to say something along the lines of “that doesn’t represent mainstream anti-war protesters” – which we all know was a flat out lie. In fact, there wasn’t a day that went by that the comparisons were made, between liberal blogs, pundits, protesters, and in some cases, liberal politicians.

Now, I’m sure the media – and the far left – have been able to find a few isolated incidents of comparisons to Hitler at the various town halls held across the country, but it’s few and far between what we all saw for eight straight years during Bush’s two terms in office. But check this out: the mainstream media’s latest reporting of a comparison between Obama and Hitler shows (deliberately?) sloppy reporting, because the sign being displayed is not one that a “conservative mobster” is proudly displaying, but that of a Lyndon LaRouche supporter – heck, the sign even says so at the bottom!

LaRouche, as I’m sure you’ll recall, has run for the Democrat nomination for president numerous times, and has been known to endorse Democrat candidates. Not only that, but LaRouche is actually a supporter of … single-payer healthcare (as is someone else, although he will not admit it now). The picture/poster the MSM is fussing over (which shows Obama with a Hitler mustached painted on his face) is also prominently displayed on the LaRouche website. The College Politico delivers the ultimate in MSM smackdowns in this video criticizing the media’s laziness in their reporting of this sign and where it comes from:

The Blog Prof reports that the guy holding the sign was allegedly handing out Rep. John Dingell (D-MI) campaign flyers later on during the town hall. Dingell, as you may recall, was the same clown who said earlier this week that ObamaCare opponents reminded him of the KKK.

After watching that, it makes you wonder: How many other Democrat plants are out there at these town halls carrying similar signs while at the same time being falsely portrayed as “conservative mobsters” who have “lost it” over Obama? I’d really like to know the answer to that. But as we’re well aware, we’ll never get them if we watch MSDNC, or CNN, or any of the other prObama networks. Intrepid conservatives will search for the truth we never get from news outlets who are supposed to be the government’s watchdogs, not its lapdogs.

Anyone who doesn’t believe there is a substantial bias against conservatives after watching that video is either completely clueless or willfully ignorant – I’m not sure which is worse.
